MESSAGE FROM DISTRICT CHAIRMAN – VINUTHA HARISH

Dear Friends in Inner Wheel

Warm greetings and good wishes to each one of you through this District directory Mythri. It feels like just yesterday that I joined this Inner Wheel organization and today I hold the highest office in the District. I feel blessed and I accept this responsibility ofleading District 319 as its 46th District Chairman with utmost humility, sincerity and gratitude. Thank you all for the faith you have reposed in me and giving me this opportunity to lead this prestigious District 319. Inner Wheel goes beyond boundaries of countries bonding us in True friendship and service with an endeavor to foste international understanding… Let’s work towards these ideals with conviction and commitment and make it a reality.

The dot in the center of the Inner Wheel logo represents each one of us. It may be small but it is very powerful. Come let’s discover the power in the dot together. The International Inner Wheel theme for the year 2022-2023 given by our International Inner Wheel President Zenaida Farcon — Work Wonders- is a theme that encompasses a very broad spectrum of what we as members can do, to make a difference to the community, society, and the world at large.

Let us create a color each day and make a rainbow out of it with twinkling stars to brighten the lives of the needy.

Association President Dr. Surjit Kaur has asked us to focus on Health care through the Association Goals We Care. –
Adolescent and Women Welfare, battle against the dreaded Cancer, anemia and other health issues, spreading awareness regarding early detection and treatment etc. This year National webinars on health awareness will be held on 19th July, 29th September and 29th October 2022, National PDC Meet is on 8th and 9th October 2022 in Gujarat, South Zone Meet is on 20th and 21st August in Hospet and South Asia Rally will be held on 26th and 27th
August 2022 in Bangladesh.

And our own District will be hosting Multi District rally on October / 5th November 2022 in Bangalore.

In unity is strength and I am fortunate to have a supportive District Executive committee members. Together we will
work towards keeping the Inner wheel flag flying high with guidance and advice of experienced Past District Chairmen. I take this opportunity to thank, District Editor Veena Pramod for her efforts in bringing this issue of Mythri. My gratitude to my home club members- Inner Wheel Club of Bangalore Mahalakshmipuram-for their unconditional support love and my special thanks to our sponsoring club Inner Wheel Club of Bangalore Orchards for all their encouragement and support.
