We, the IWC Maralur family, had great privilege of observing ‘Kargil Vijay Divas’ on 26th July to commemorate India’s victory and pay homage to soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country in the Kargil war (1999).
Place : Karnataka Battalion NCC Tumkur.
We honoured Major Subedar Bahadur Singh and other Valiant soldiers for their patriotism and bravery in war zone.
It was the most humbling experience to meet our soldiers at the base camp and see them training National cadet corps.
